He started a small rap group when growing up, but things really kicked off when the Black Eyed Peas formed in 1988.

Before BEPs, will.i.am studied fashion and has since designed clothes. He will be debuting his i.am Antik collection later this year.

He's paid a deposit on a battery operated sportscar - the Tesla Roadster - and will be among the first owners.
