It All Began…

Kelly, along with Beyonce, is one of the original members of Destiny's Child . They scored their first big hit in 1998 with "No, No, No Part 2" and the rest is history. Kelly's first solo album "Simply Deep" was released in 2002 and she scored big hits with "Stole", "Can't Nobody" and "Dilemma" with Nelly.

Awards:

Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Dilemma" in 2003, as well as a whole host of awards with Destiny's Child including a special WMA for the biggest-selling girl group of all time.

When Not Making Music:

Kelly started acting in 2003 and has appeared in three films and a few TV sitcoms. She has also guest hosted a daytime talk show.

Did You Know?

Some of Kelly's album was written by Beyonce's 20 year old sister Solange Knowles .
