Dynamite MC

Dynamite is, of course, the wicked drum ‘n’ bass and hip hop MC, CEO of his own label (Strong Records) and secret music producer. Look out for Styles Galore, his next album, due 2007.

Born in Germany, raised in UK, now London based.

It All Began…

In a club in 1993 when Dynamite impressed Roni Size and DJ Krust with his mic skills and quickly became a standard member of the Full Cycle crew.

Awards:

The Mercury Music Prize in 1997 as part of drum ‘n’ bass group Reprezent.

He said it:

According to an interview with Playlouder website, the biggest life lesson Dynamite has learnt is “Don't wait for anyone to do it for you.”

Did you know?

When label Talkin Loud shut down just before the release of Dynamite’s debut album he set up Strong Records to release it himself.

Mad but true

He’s lived in Germany, Brazil, Ireland, Gloucester, Bristol and now London. His Dad was in the army so he moved a lot as a child.
