Chamillionaire

Chamillionaire

It All Began When… Cham impressed DJ and local Houston big man Michael 5000 Watts with his freestyles and became part of Watts’ Swishahouse collective.

From:

Houston, Texas, America

Awards:

He’s won various MTV awards but Cham reckons his biggest honour was Weird Al Yankovic’s hilarious ‘White & Nerdy’ spoof of ‘Ridin Dirty’.

When Not Making Music:

He’s busy planning the launch of his Chamilitary clothing line. Expect camouflage boxer shorts!

He Said It:

When asked if Cham was planning to push Chamilitary until it reached the same level as G-Unit’s line, he said, “I'm gonna push it and push it till the wheels fall off.”

Love Interests:

His 2005 track ‘Still In Love With My Money’ is testament to Cham’s heart belonging to his Gs’ rather than his girl.

Did You Know?

DJ OG Ron C released a chopped and screwed version of ‘The Sound Of Revenge’ in February 2006, before Cham’s release.

Mad But True:

After Cham dedicated his entire ‘Mixtape Messiah’ CD to dissin’ rapper Mike Jones, the beef is apparently over and they’re considering collaborating.

Big Track:

2006’s ‘Ridin’ feat. Krayzie Bones (Chamilitary/Universal Records). The ringtone version went triple platinum!
