Beyonce

Beyonce was born on September 4 1981 in Houston, Texas and her middle name is Giselle.

Beyonce and Kelly Rowland, who was in Destiny's Child, are cousins. Beyonce starred as Foxxy Cleopatra in Austin Powers in Goldmember in 2002.

Destiny's Child toured as an opening act for TLC and Christiina Aguilera before their first album was even released.

Beyonce was the first African-American female artist and only the second woman ever to win the annual American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP ) Pop Songwriter of the Year Award.
