Joe is the son of two preachers who raised him as an active member of the church in Alabama.

It All Began…

at church! Joe was an active member of the choir, as both a singer and a guitarist before eventually directing the choir. After high school he started playing in local bands before travelling to New York. There he sang in church before meeting a producer who wanted to record a demo.

Awards:

He's been nominated for 7 Grammys.
